Winter may be on the decline in many parts of the country, but the latest warning from the Meteorological Department has once again alerted people. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain and strong winds in some states on February 13. It is estimated that winds can blow at a speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour during this period.

Rain is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Whereas, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana may receive rain between February 16-17, due to which the temperature may drop by about 2 degrees Celsius.

Fog hits several districts in North India
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for dense fog in 27 districts across North India. Moderate to dense fog is expected in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Agra, Amethi, Barabanki, Mainpuri, Bahraich, Bulandshahr, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Shamli, Sitapur, and Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh.

Visibility is also expected to be affected in the morning in Gurugram, Faridabad, Kurukshetra, Sonipat, Hisar, Jhajjar, and Panipat in Haryana. Traffic may also be affected by fog in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, and Kapurthala in Punjab.

Delhi: Cloudy, no rain expected
The national capital, Delhi, is expected to experience a maximum temperature of 24 to 26 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 10 to 11 degrees Celsius on February 13th. Partly cloudy skies are expected, but no precipitation is expected at this time. Winds may blow at a speed of 5 to 10 km/h in the morning.

Uttar Pradesh: Clear weather, but fog will be a problem
There are no signs of rain in the state. However, fog may affect Lucknow, Kanpur, Mathura, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Agra, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, and Deoria. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 12 degrees Celsius.

Bihar: No rain, but fog continues to affect
The weather in Bihar is expected to remain clear on February 13. However, a dense fog warning has been issued for more than 10 districts, including Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria, Saharsa, Katihar, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Madhubani.

Rajasthan: Relief for now, weather to change on February 17
The weather in Rajasthan will remain clear for now. However, light rain is possible in Jaipur and surrounding areas on February 17th. Fog is likely in Bharatpur, Alwar, Ajmer, Baran, Bhilwara, and Bikaner. The maximum temperature in Jaipur is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 13 degrees Celsius.

Madhya Pradesh: Clear skies now, signs to change later
There is no rain warning for Madhya Pradesh on February 13. However, cloud cover is expected in Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, and Chhindwara after February 16.

Uttarakhand and Himachal: The system will be activated from February 16.
Rainfall activity may increase in Uttarakhand after February 16th. Rainfall is expected in Nainital, Almora, Pithoragarh, Pauri Garhwal, and Chamoli. In Himachal Pradesh, rain is also expected in many areas, including Kangra, Shimla, and Dharamshala, on February 16th and 17th.

Jammu and Kashmir: Rain and cold spell
Rainfall is expected in Jammu, Srinagar, Kathua, Udhampur, Poonch, and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The maximum temperature in Srinagar is expected to be around 9 degrees Celsius and the minimum around zero degrees Celsius.
