A very important and happy news has come to light for the beneficiaries of the central government's 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi' scheme. The installment, which farmers have been waiting for for several days, has finally been announced. The funds under this scheme will be deposited into farmers' bank accounts on June 20, 2026. This information has been provided on the government's official social media accounts, and eligible farmers will receive a benefit of ₹2,000 directly into their bank accounts (via DBT).

What exactly is the PM Kisan Scheme?

The central government launched this major scheme on February 24, 2019, to provide financial assistance to farmers for their agricultural work. This scheme was implemented with the country's small and needy farmers in mind. Beneficiary farmers receive a total financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually through this scheme. This amount is distributed in three installments, each of ₹2,000. So far, farmers across the country have received 22 installments, and the next installment will be the 23rd installment of the scheme.

Correct these mistakes immediately to avoid losing your money.

Meanwhile, according to information provided by the government, not all farmers will receive this installment. Beneficiaries with errors in their documents or processing may face a delay in receiving their funds. If the following are incomplete, the funds will not be credited to your account:

Incomplete e-KYC: Many farmers have not yet authenticated their e-KYC.

Farmer ID: There is no registered farmer ID or it has errors.

Mismatch in information: The name in the bank account does not match the name in the Aadhaar card or other details.

Incorrect bank details: Missing bank account number or not updating the IFSC code of the bank if it has changed.

Land verification: Incomplete verification of agricultural land records (land ceding) at the government level. If your previous installment was blocked due to a technical issue or document error, and you've now corrected the error, the previously blocked funds may be credited to your account along with this installment.

How to check the status of the scheme sitting at home?

The government has provided a very easy online method to check whether the money will be credited to your account. You can check your status by following the steps below:

1. First of all, go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana.

2. Click on 'Farmers Corner' option on the main page.

3. There you will see the option of 'Know Your Status', go to it.

4. Now fill your registration number and the captcha code shown in front correctly.

5. As soon as you submit the information, your complete information will appear on the screen.

Here you can clearly see whether your e-KYC is complete, whether your bank account is linked to Aadhaar, and whether your land registration is correct. Therefore, it's beneficial to complete this verification before June 20th.
