Under this UPAVP scheme, 1 BHK flats are being made available to buyers. These flats measure approximately 28.41 square meters in size and are all ready-to-move-in. This means that buyers can move in with their families immediately after making the full payment. Allotment of flats is being done on a first-come, first-served basis, which will benefit those who make quick decisions.
Lottery Process and Refund Guarantee
Online registration for this scheme began on August 15th, and the deadline is September 30th. To apply, a registration fee of 5% of the flat price must be deposited. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available flats, allocation will be done through a lottery process. Importantly, unsuccessful applicants will receive their deposit within a month, eliminating any financial risk.
The UPAVP has also offered additional benefits to attract buyers. Buyers who pay the full amount within 60 days will receive a 5% discount. A special feature for government employees and officials is that they can take possession of their flats by paying only 50%.
