Silver prices also rose
Along with gold, the silver market is also booming. After remaining stable for three consecutive days, silver prices have now increased for the second consecutive day. The special thing is that in the last two days, one kilogram of silver has become costlier by Rs 10,100. This could cause huge losses to customers buying silver. Today, one kilogram of silver has become costlier by Rs 100 in Delhi and its price is Rs 2,55,100 per kilogram. If we talk about other big metro cities, the price of silver is also at the same level in Mumbai and Kolkata. However, the price of one kilogram of silver is highest in Chennai and silver is available there for Rs 2,60,100.
Gaurav Garg, head of research at Lemon Market Desk, says that investors are flocking to gold ahead of the release of US inflation data, which is driving the price higher. Additionally, investment and industrial demand for silver is also strong.
