The woman's identity and relationship remain a mystery.
Police identified the deceased woman as Kiran Devi. She was a resident of the Kabrai police station area of ​​Mahoba district. After marriage, there were frequent disputes between her and her husband, CRPF jawan Vinod Singh. Due to domestic problems, Kiran filed a dowry harassment case against her husband and in-laws. During this time, Kiran came in contact with Ankit Yadav, a sub-inspector posted at the police station. After meetings and conversations, a friendship and then a close relationship developed between the two. This relationship lasted for about two years.

Demand for marriage and plan to murder:
With time, Kiran started pressurizing Ankit for marriage. Initially, Ankit tried to avoid the matter by avoiding her, but finally he decided to eliminate the girl. On 12th November, Ankit took a car from one of his acquaintances and called Kiran on the pretext of taking her for a ride. During the journey, both of them had physical relations, not only this, during this time Ankit had sex with Kiran after taking sex enhancing pills, but due to some reason a dispute arose between them. In anger, Ankit took her to the field and murdered her.

After the murder,
the accused dumped the body naked in a field to make it difficult to identify and to make the case appear like a rape. However, the police, recognizing the seriousness of the case, immediately launched an investigation.

Police Investigation and Evidence
Police identified Kiran and arrested the accused, Ankit. The investigation led to the recovery of the car used in the murder, an iron rod, and mobile phone chats and calls records between the two. This evidence clarified the entire case and exposed Ankit's conspiracy.
