Fans Can Watch ‘Dhurandhar 2’ a Day Early; Tickets for Paid Previews Skyrocket

Bollywood’s Ranveer Singh is creating a nationwide buzz with his upcoming film Dhurandhar 2, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. Riding the wave of excitement generated by its recently released trailer, the makers have announced paid preview shows on the evening of March 18, allowing audiences to experience the film a day before the official release.

The previews, starting around 4–5 pm in select cinemas across India, have already generated tremendous demand. Ticket prices for these early shows have surged well above standard rates:

  • Multiplex shows in major cities range between ₹600–₹900.

  • IMAX screenings exceed ₹1000.

  • Luxury recliner seats are priced at a premium, with INOX Megaplex Borivali, Mumbai, charging ₹3100 per seat, and PVR Select City Walk, Delhi, ₹2400.

Despite the high prices, most preview shows have already sold out. The average ticket price for the original Hindi version is ₹418, while Dolby Cine formats cost ₹759. Dubbed versions are similarly priced above standard rates, with Kannada at ₹445, Telugu at ₹230, and Tamil at ₹166.

The paid previews strategy reflects the unprecedented anticipation surrounding Dhurandhar 2, as fans eagerly await what promises to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
