Etah News: The child's father had died a year ago due to HIV and now his mother also died, after which he alone brought his mother's body for post-mortem.

A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Etah, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman contracted HIV and was abandoned by everyone. However, her eight-year-old son stood by her until her death, and when she finally died, he brought her body to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. The child's father had died a year earlier.

This incident occurred in Nagla Dhiraj, Etah, where 45-year-old Neelam was suffering from HIV, after which her family members cut off ties with her. The woman was undergoing treatment at Veerangna Avanti Bai Medical College in Etah. However, her condition deteriorated over the past few days, leading to her death.

The child arrived to get the mother's body post-mortemed.

This woman's husband had died of HIV a year earlier, and she was survived by her eight-year-old son. He supported her throughout her treatment, but when she died, no one came to her aid. Afterward, the son alone brought the body to the district headquarters for a post-mortem examination. During this time, he sat beside his mother's body, crying bitterly.

Family and relatives also left him

The child explained that his father had died a year earlier, and now his mother had also passed away. He was left alone in this world. Family members and relatives had turned their backs on him. No relative or family member even came to offer a shoulder to the deceased woman.

The child also alleged that no family member has come forward to help him, that everyone is after his property, and that he faces threats to his life from his family.

The woman's last rites were performed with the help of the police.

Recognizing the seriousness of the matter, Jaithra Police Station Officer Ritesh Thakur intervened. He explained that the woman's death was due to illness, and that her father had also died of illness previously. The Station Officer has taken responsibility for the deceased woman's last rites and assured the child of all possible assistance. The woman's last rites were performed with the assistance of Jaithra Police Station Officer Ritesh Thakur.
