Bhopal: A unique incident has come to light in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Thieves carried out a burglary at a lawyer's home in a unique manner. Before entering the house, the thieves fed meat to a dog. They then climbed over the wall and stole ₹18 lakh (approximately $1.8 million). CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, prompting police to launch an investigation.

The lawyer had gone to Indore for treatment.

This incident took place in Suraj Nagar, a posh colony on Airport Road in Bhopal . Lawyer Akhilesh Srivastava lives in Suraj Nagar. He had gone to Indore with his family for medical treatment. Taking advantage of this, eight masked robbers committed the theft. The thieves entered by jumping over the gate. After breaking the locks, they removed valuables and took them away in a loading vehicle.

Meat fed to dogs to calm them down

Actually, Suraj Nagar lawyer Akhilesh Srivastava kept dogs in his home. He had two dogs. Both would bark at the sight of a stranger. The thieves had already guessed that there were dogs in his house. So, they used their brains and threw meat from outside and fed it to the dogs. It is suspected that it may have contained sleeping pills. After eating the meat, the dogs stopped barking.

Thieves entered by jumping over the wall

After this, eight masked thieves entered the house by jumping over the wall. The incident is recorded on CCTV. They broke the locks of the rooms inside the house. It is being said that the thieves stole cash worth Rs 18 lakh and gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. The criminals arrived in a loading vehicle and loaded it into it and took away all the goods.

The thieves had complete information

The thieves had complete information about the house and took advantage of this. They committed the crime when there was no police patrolling in the area. The incident took place on the night of December 25-26. The crime was committed between 1:15 am and 3:45 am. The next morning, the maid noticed that all the household items were scattered. Also, cash was missing from the cupboards. Kohefija police have started an investigation.

Arrest will happen soon

Bhopal Police have claimed that the accused will be arrested soon in this sensational incident. CCTV footage shows the perpetrators. High-quality cameras were installed in the victim's home, which also have voice recording capabilities. Therefore, the entire incident is recorded.
