Domestic LPG cylinder prices have been increased effective Saturday, March 7. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 60 across the country.

Similarly, the price of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder has also been increased by ₹115 from the same date. This will directly impact hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.

According to sources, the price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased from ₹853 to ₹913. In Mumbai, the new rate for a domestic cylinder is ₹912.50, up from ₹852.50 previously. In Chennai, the rate has risen from ₹868.50 to ₹928.50. These revised rates are effective today.

Commercial cylinder prices

Commercial cylinders used by businesses have also seen a significant price increase. In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder has risen from ₹1,768.50 to ₹1,883.

In Mumbai, it has risen from ₹1,720.50 to ₹1,835. In Kolkata, the price has risen from ₹1,875.50 to ₹1,990, and in Chennai, it has risen from ₹1,929 to ₹2,043.50.

Previously, domestic LPG cylinder prices had remained unchanged since April 2025. This latest revision is a significant increase for both domestic consumers and commercial users.
