According to Shoaib Ibrahim, they had already left Pahalgam before the incident occurred. The couple had been traveling across Kashmir, including a stay in Sonamarg, before heading to Pahalgam. In one of the videos shared during the trip, they were seen enjoying the scenic beauty with their son Ruhaan, encouraging others to visit the region.

On the day of the attack, Shoaib had already departed from Kashmir and reached Delhi by flight. He later revealed that they were unaware of the incident while traveling and only learned about it after receiving messages on social media. The couple assured their followers that they were safe.

However, when Shoaib later shared a video reacting to the incident, he faced backlash from some users who accused him of seeking attention during a sensitive time. Responding to the criticism, the couple clarified their intentions and addressed the trolling.
