Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar, known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, recently underwent a major surgery to remove a tennis-ball sized tumor from her liver, diagnosed as second-stage cancer.

Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, gave a detailed update about her condition in a new vlog. He revealed that the surgery lasted 14 hours, which caused him and the family to panic due to the unexpected duration. However, Dipika is now recovering well.

Shoaib shared that Dipika has been moved out of the ICU to a normal hospital room and has started walking. She is also able to eat a normal diet. If her recovery continues smoothly, she may soon be discharged and return home.

Dipika’s fans have been sending love and prayers as she bravely fights through this challenging phase.
