‘Dhurandhar 2’ Buzz Grows: Teasers of Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor’s Films May Release With Ranveer Singh’s Movie

The upcoming action film Dhurandhar: The Revenge (popularly called Dhurandhar 2), starring Ranveer Singh, has become one of the most talked-about releases in the industry. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, with paid preview shows beginning on March 18.

The excitement surrounding the movie has increased further after reports that teasers of several upcoming films featuring major Bollywood stars may be attached to its theatrical prints.

No Box-Office Clash After ‘Toxic’ Postponement

Earlier, there were expectations of a major box-office clash between Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic, starring Yash. However, the postponement of Toxic has cleared the path for Ranveer Singh’s film, giving it a wider release window and potentially boosting its box-office prospects.

Akshay Kumar’s Film Already Linked

Reports earlier suggested that the trailer of Bhoot Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, will be attached to the theatrical prints of Dhurandhar 2. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on April 10.

Teasers of Two More Big Films

According to media reports, Jio Studios is planning to showcase teasers of two other major upcoming projects during screenings of Dhurandhar 2.

1. Raja Shivaji

The teaser of Raja Shivaji is expected to be shown alongside the film. The historical epic stars Riteish Deshmukh, who also directs the project, portraying Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The film reportedly features Salman Khan in a significant role and is scheduled for release on May 1. The cast also includes Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, and Genelia Deshmukh.

2. Cocktail 2

Another teaser likely to be attached is for Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania. The romantic drama stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. The film’s official release date has not yet been announced.
