A video of a street fight between college students in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is going viral. In a post-exam argument between students from the Diwan Group, one student beat another with a belt for commenting on her boyfriend. Police have begun investigating the matter.

In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a street fight broke out between two girls. A fierce fight ensued. A video of the incident is going viral on social media. Both girls are said to be students of the Diwan Group and the Institute. In the video, one student is seen publicly beating the other with a belt. A crowd of students can be seen surrounding them.

This incident occurred at a college located on the Partapur bypass, where students had arrived to take their BBA exams. It is reported that after the exam was over, as everyone was leaving the college campus, a female student made a comment about a passing student. His girlfriend, who was with him, took offense to this. An argument ensued, followed by a brawl.

The student beat the girl with a belt.

According to people present at the scene, an angry student pulled out her belt and attacked another student near the college's main gate. The victim tried to run away to save herself, but the attacker pursued her and continued to assault her. A male student tried to intervene, but his efforts were unsuccessful.

Video went viral on social media

What's most shocking is that instead of helping, other students at the scene pulled out their mobile cameras and continued filming. College security personnel were also seen standing nearby, but no one intervened. The same video was later uploaded to Instagram, which went viral on social media and reached the police.

Police officials say they are identifying the two students based on the viral video. Information has also been sought from the college administration and they are investigating why security failed at the time. Police have clarified that legal action will be taken against the culprits after an investigation.
