CM Yogi Singapore Visit: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a two-day visit to Singapore (February 23-24, 2026), starting February 23. This visit proved to be a major success for CM Yogi in terms of investment and development. During the two-day visit, he met with top Singaporean leaders, investors, and companies, resulting in investment proposals worth ₹1 lakh crore.
Of this, MoUs (memoranda of understanding) worth several thousand crores have already been signed. CM Yogi himself stated that in these two days, UP received investment proposals worth a total of 1 lakh crore rupees, including MoUs worth 60,000 crore rupees. CM Yogi Singapore Visit: When and why the visit?
· Date: February 23-24, 2026 (two days in Singapore, then off to Japan).
· Objective: To enhance economic cooperation with Singapore, attract investment, partnership in areas such as skill development, infrastructure, renewable energy, data centres, logistics and aviation.
This was CM Yogi's first major foreign visit since his visit to Myanmar in 2017. He met Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and other leaders.
CM Yogi's Singapore First Day: Major achievements on the first day (February 23)
· MoU signed worth Rs 19,877 crore (approximately Rs 20,000 crore).
CM Yogi Singapore MoU: What is the main MoU?
· ₹6,650 crore with Universal Success Group for group housing (township near Jewar Airport), logistics park (₹650 crore on 50 acres on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway), and hyperscale data center (40 MW capacity). This will create over 20,000 jobs.
· 2,500 crore renewable energy, green hydrogen and agri-solar projects with Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG).
· 2,727 crore with AVPN – Renewables and Agri-Solar.
Other: ₹8,000 crore data centre project from Golden State Capital.
CM Yogi held meetings with major investors such as Temasek Holdings, GIC (Government Investment Corporation), and DBS Group. Focus: Data centers, logistics hubs, renewable energy, and industrial infrastructure. Skills development: Visited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), where he observed Singapore's industry-integrated training model. He plans to develop similar world-class skill centers and employment zones in Uttar Pradesh.
· Modern Cargo Campus.
· World class air catering kitchen.
· MoU with Singapore Cooperation Enterprise - Cooperation in institutional capacity building, policy framework, ecosystem development, digital transformation and infrastructure.
· Overall, MoUs and proposals signed in two days resulted in firm commitments worth Rs 60,000 crore, while further discussions are underway on the remaining proposals.

· Investment: Proposals worth Rs 1 lakh crore, including MoUs worth Rs 60,000 crore.
· Employment: Thousands of jobs (expected 20,000+ from MoU on day 1 itself).
· Sectors: Data Centres, Green Energy, Logistics, Housing, Aviation, Skill Development.
· CM Yogi said that Uttar Pradesh has transparent policies, quick approvals, and excellent infrastructure. We are learning from the Singapore model and will bring skill centers and employment zones to Uttar Pradesh.
After the tour concludes, CM Yogi will depart for Japan tonight, where efforts to attract further investment will continue. This visit is a major step towards making Uttar Pradesh a global industrial hub.
