Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay has once again attracted attention for his simple and warm interaction with people. A video showing the actor-turned-politician meeting elderly women working in a field has gone viral on social media, with fans praising his gesture.

Vijay had travelled to Salem to attend an event related to the opening of the Mettur Dam gates and the release of water for samba rice cultivation in the Cauvery Delta. After inspecting the Mettur Hydroelectric Power Station, he was on his way to the airport when he noticed some elderly women working in the fields.

Instead of continuing with his convoy, Vijay stopped and went over to meet them.
