A 15-year-old Class 11 student has gone missing under suspicious circumstances in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi district, prompting an intensive police search. The disappearance reportedly occurred shortly after the teenager was involved in a minor argument while playing cricket near his home.

The incident has left the family distressed, with police investigating multiple leads to locate the missing student.

Disappearance After Cricket Match

The case was reported from Khajraha village in the Babina police station area. According to the family, Ankit Ahirwar, a Class 11 student, had gone to play cricket in a nearby field when he reportedly had a disagreement with a few other boys during the game.

Family members allege that sometime after the argument, two youths came to their home and took Ankit away. When he failed to return for several hours, relatives began searching for him but were unable to find any trace of the teenager.

Family Files Missing Complaint

The family searched nearby areas, contacted friends and relatives, and checked places Ankit was known to visit. After their efforts proved unsuccessful, they approached Babina police station and lodged a missing person complaint.

The student's disappearance has left the family deeply worried, with relatives fearing for his safety.

Police Reviewing CCTV Footage

Following the complaint, police launched an investigation and formed search teams to trace the missing teenager.

Officials are:

• Examining CCTV footage from nearby roads and surrounding areas.
• Questioning friends who were present during the cricket match.
• Speaking with local residents and family members.
• Working to identify the two youths who were allegedly last seen taking the student away.

Police have stated that they are investigating the case from all possible angles and are continuing efforts to locate the missing student as quickly as possible.
