Union Minister Chirag Paswan has broken his silence on the latest series of allegations leveled by Jan Suraj Party leader Prashant Kishor, stating that such claims should be subject to proper investigation. Paswan questioned whether Prashant Kishor is presenting facts or merely making accusations for political mileage. “We’ve seen this style of politics before—in Delhi, for example, before a famous activist became Chief Minister, similar lists of allegations were made, but when the time for action came, there was silence,” Paswan remarked.

He further emphasized that those facing these accusations are fully capable of defending themselves and that some have already initiated defamation proceedings. “Whenever explanations are needed, they will be given. These allegations will continue, and as events unfold, the truth will become clear.” Paswan suggested that time will naturally separate truth from mere insinuation, adding, “Doodh ka doodh, paani ka paani ho jayega (the truth will be revealed).”

Prashant Kishor’s latest allegations include demanding the removal of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary over questions about an age certificate used in a decades-old murder case, and accusing Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey of unexplained financial transactions. Kishor has challenged the Bihar leadership on issues of ethics and transparency, but Chirag Paswan remains confident in due process and the ability of those accused to fully clarify their positions.
