Chhattisgarh Gears Up to Become Hub for Semiconductors, AI, and Pharma: CM Vishnu Deo Sai at Industry Dialogue-2

Chhattisgarh is rapidly transforming from a Naxal-affected region into an emerging industrial powerhouse. Speaking at the Chhattisgarh Industry Dialogue-2 in Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai laid out an ambitious vision to make the state a hub for semiconductors, AI, pharma, and logistics, while attracting record-breaking investments and creating lakhs of job opportunities.

Semiconductors and AI

CM Sai revealed that Polymatech, a semiconductor giant, began its Rs 1,143 crore project within just three months of land allotment and NOC. The aim is to produce 10 billion chips annually, making Nava Raipur the 'Silicon Valley' of Chhattisgarh.

Additionally, the AI Data Center Park is being developed as India’s first of its kind, placing the state firmly on the global digital infrastructure map.

Pharma and Textile

A pharma hub and Medicity are under construction to promote medical tourism and advanced healthcare. Special grants and subsidies are being provided to investors in pharma and textile sectors to make the state attractive for industrial development.

A Strong Message to Investors

With over 350 structural reforms implemented in just 18 months, Chhattisgarh now accounts for 3.71% of total investments in India for FY 2025. Major investor summits in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru generated thousands of crores in investment pledges across the energy, defense, AI, pharma, and textiles sectors.

CM Sai assured investors of transparent, efficient governance, stating:

“We have created a system where all approvals are just one click away. Our aim is to ensure minimum hurdles and maximum opportunities.”


Naxalism: A Final Push for Peace

CM Sai said the government aims for complete elimination of Naxalism by March 2026, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, paving the way for peace, stability, and all-round development.
