A brutal incident has occurred in Surguja district of Chhattisgarh that will leave people stunned. The incident has left the police in shock. The accused, who murdered his wife, has been arrested by the police. The accused was absconding after killing her. During police interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. The four-year-old daughter informed the police of the murder.

According to media reports, in this case the police said that the accused had killed his 23-year-old pregnant wife by inserting a blade in her private parts. This incident took place on May 14 in Bhittikala village under Manipur police station area. The accused Pradeep Agariya was arrested from Ambikapur and he has confessed his crime. Dr Santu Bag, postmortem surgeon of the Forensic Medicine Department of Ambikapur Medical College, said that the woman was three months pregnant and there were about 17 serious external injuries on her body. An iron rod about 10 inches long was removed from the woman's private parts.

Giving details of the case, the police officer said, "According to preliminary information, Agariya and Hirabai were married about five years ago
The accused would often attack his wife under the influence of alcohol. On May 14, he severely beat Hirabai and inserted a metal-cutting blade into her private parts. This brutality took place when the couple's four-year-old daughter was present at home." The officer said that after she fainted from pain, the accused tied Hirabai to a motorcycle and took her to Ambikapur Medical College Hospital, where he told doctors that the woman had suffered injuries in a road accident. He said, "After examination, the woman was declared dead. Upon learning of her death, Agariya fled."
