Despite not releasing in Hindi yet, the film managed to surpass the opening day numbers of Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited Baaghi 4.

According to early reports, Dil Madrasi collected Rs 13 crore on Day 1 in India. Considering its massive budget of nearly Rs 200 crore, this is a strong start. However, for the film to emerge as a commercial success, it will need to maintain the same momentum throughout its opening weekend.

Baaghi 4 Opening Day Performance

On the other hand, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, which also released around the same time, managed to earn Rs 12 crore on its opening day. While the figure is impressive, it fell short when compared to Sivakarthikeyan’s film.

Big Names Behind Dil Madrasi

The film has been directed by A. R. Murugadoss, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, and features music by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to its buzz. With strong word-of-mouth and solid numbers on Day 1, all eyes are now on how the film performs over the weekend.
