Prakash Raj Criticises the Action
Actor Prakash Raj shared his reaction on social media, expressing concern over the handling of the situation. He wrote that a government should engage in dialogue with young people rather than resort to force, adding that disrupting a peaceful protest reflected poorly on the authorities.
His comments quickly drew attention online and became part of the broader debate surrounding the incident.
Vishal Dadlani Calls the Incident Disturbing
Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani also reacted by sharing a video on social media. He described the incident as deeply upsetting and said he was angered by the way Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the protest.
Dadlani said he wished he had been present to support the activist and urged people to pay attention to what was happening.
Sonam Wangchuk Under Medical Observation
According to reports, Sonam Wangchuk had been on a hunger strike at Jantar Mantar since June 28, 2026. Following his removal from the protest site, he was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi, where he is reportedly under medical supervision.
