Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia appeared before the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) today in connection with the Delhi classroom scam case, calling the entire investigation politically motivated and a result of the BJP’s vendetta politics.

Sisodia Defends Delhi’s Education Model

Before entering the ACB office, Sisodia strongly defended his work in the education sector, stating:

“We built excellent schools and provided top-quality education in Delhi. The whole country knows this. But BJP, driven by politics, misused investigative agencies to lodge an FIR against me. Now ACB has summoned me based on this politically driven case.”

“Fake FIRs, No Evidence”

Sisodia claimed that the BJP has been misusing central agencies for over a decade to target AAP leaders, but has failed to find any wrongdoing:

“They searched the lives of every AAP leader over the last 10 years but found nothing. They only file fake FIRs, and then these cases drag on without result. This case will be no different — because there is nothing to find.”

Alleges BJP Using FIRs to Distract Public

Sisodia cited his ongoing defamation case against BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, who had earlier accused him in this scam:

“Manoj Tiwari made baseless allegations. When I filed a defamation case, he took bail and is now dodging proceedings. BJP uses fake cases to distract from real issues affecting the people.”

Slams BJP Over Delhi’s Civic Woes

Responding to Delhi BJP chief Rekha Gupta’s statement that CM Arvind Kejriwal may also have to appear before ACB, Sisodia said:

“The BJP doesn’t know what it’s doing in Delhi. Even their own supporters are frustrated with poor infrastructure, power cuts, and private school exploitation. Just one spell of rain has exposed their governance. But instead of solving problems, they are busy filing FIRs and abusing Kejriwal.”
