Baidyanath Temple: If you want to worship Baba and offer water, then do darshan quickly, touch worship will be stopped from this day..

Baba Baidyanath Sparsh Puja: Baba Baidyanath Dham of Devghar is also included among the 12 Jyotirlingas, where devotees from every corner of the country reach to worship. Although there is a crowd of devotees in this Jyotirlinga throughout the year, especially in the month of Sawan, a huge crowd of devotees gathers here. Only the chants of "Bol Bam" are heard all around. Only Shiva devotees wearing saffron clothes are seen in every street of Devghar.

Ten km long line is formed.
The condition of the crowd is such that the queue of devotees to offer water reaches 10 kilometers away from the temple. At the same time, some changes are made in the arrangements of the temple in the month of Sawan. In this month, Sparsh Puja is stopped in the temple. Let us know when Sparsh Puja will be stopped this year.

Argha will be placed in the month of Sawan.
If you also want to do Sparsh Puja in Baidyanath temple, then only a few days are left. Because in the month of Sawan, the crowd of devotees becomes very high. To handle the crowd of devotees, some arrangements of the Baidyanath temple are changed, so that devotees can easily have darshan of Jyotirlinga in less time. Therefore, Argha is placed outside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, and devotees offer water to the Shivling through Argha only.

When will Argha be installed this year?

In the month of Sawan, Argha is installed outside the sanctum sanctorum of the main temple in the Baidyanath temple. According to the information received from the temple management, this year Argha will start on the full moon date of the month of Ashadha i.e. July 10 and Sparsh Puja will stop. This Argha system remains from Ashadha Purnima to Sawan Purnima.

When was Argha started?

Day by day, the crowd of devotees is increasing for the worship of Lord Shiva in the Baidyanath temple. To avoid any accident in this crowd, Argha was used for the first time in the year 2012 on the day of Basant Panchami. After the Argha system was successful, it started being installed in every Sawan from that year onwards.

Not one, but three Arghaas are installed.
To deal with the crowd of devotees in the month of Saavan, one Argha is installed outside the sanctum sanctorum of the main temple, along with two external Arghaas. That is, devotees like children, old people, or women who cannot go to the sanctum sanctorum by standing in a long queue, can offer water to the Shivalinga of Baidyanath temple through the external Arghaa. These external Arghaas are installed on the temple premises itself.
