India’s emphatic victory over Pakistan in the high-voltage T20 World Cup 2026 clash has sparked celebrations across the country. After Team India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in Colombo, Baba Bageshwar, also known as Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, made a strong statement that has gone viral on social media.
“I Said We Would Win When the First Wicket Fell at 12”
Addressing devotees during his Katha, Baba Bageshwar recalled the tense moments early in the match. He said that when India lost its first wicket at just 12 runs, many people approached him with concern.
“They asked me, ‘Guruji, what will happen now?’ I told them not to worry. God’s blessings are with India. Our players are strong, and India will win,” he said.
As the match progressed, his words appeared to resonate with fans as India went on to dominate the contest.
Sharp Dig at Pakistan After Defeat
Commenting on Pakistan’s loss, Baba Bageshwar did not hold back. Referring to recent developments and the cricketing defeat, he remarked:
“They must be feeling restless after this loss. First, the Indian Army responded strongly in Operation Sindoor, and now our players have shown the truth on the cricket field. I would only say—son, don’t worry, a father will always be a father.”
His statement drew loud applause and cheers from the gathering.
Chants of Patriotism Echo at the Katha
The atmosphere at the pandal turned celebratory as Baba Bageshwar led the crowd in chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”. The chants echoed across the venue, symbolically boosting the morale of Team India.
Nationwide Celebrations After Historic Win
India’s convincing win sparked massive celebrations across the country. From social media platforms to city streets, cricket fans expressed their joy, hailing the team’s performance against arch-rivals Pakistan.
