Emraan Hashmi’s much-awaited film “Awarapan 2” is just days away from its theatrical release, and excitement among fans is increasing with every new update. After the trailer received a strong response, another report has created buzz around the film’s music.

According to reports, the makers of Awarapan 2 are planning to bring back Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid for a new version of the iconic song “Tera Mera Rishta” from the original Awarapan (2007).

Nostalgia Returns With ‘Tera Mera Rishta’

The song “Tera Mera Rishta Purana” from the first Awarapan became one of the most memorable tracks of the film. Mustafa Zahid’s emotional vocals, along with music composed by Pritam and lyrics written by Saeed Qadri, helped the song become extremely popular among listeners.

Now, the makers are reportedly exploring the possibility of recreating the magic of the song with a fresh version for the sequel.

Song May Be Used Only for Promotion

According to a report by Mid-Day, discussions are underway to bring Mustafa Zahid back for recording the new version of the track.

However, reports suggest that the song may not be included in the film itself. Instead, it could be released as a promotional track for digital platforms and social media campaigns.

Sources reportedly indicate that including the song in the movie could create challenges during the certification process. If the collaboration is finalized, the recording is expected to take place in Dubai.

Neither Mustafa Zahid nor the makers of Awarapan 2 have officially confirmed the development so far.
