Asia Cup 2025 Points Table: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh Seal Super 4 Spots

The group stage of the Asia Cup 2025 has concluded, and the four semi-finalists of Asian cricket are now confirmed. From Group A, India and Pakistan advanced early, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh booked their tickets from Group B. Afghanistan’s campaign ended in heartbreak after a crucial defeat to Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Shatter Afghanistan’s Hopes

In the final league clash of Group B, Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan by 6 wickets, knocking them out of the tournament. Had Afghanistan won, they would have qualified instead of Bangladesh. But Sri Lanka’s win not only sealed their own place but also helped Bangladesh enter the Super 4. Sri Lanka dominated the group stage, winning all three matches and finishing at the top of the table.

Bangladesh finished second in the group with four points, having won two of their three matches. Afghanistan managed just one victory and ended third, while Hong Kong lost all three of its games and finished bottom of the table.

Group A Already Decided

India and Pakistan had secured their Super 4 berths earlier. India beat Pakistan and UAE in their first two games, while Pakistan overcame Oman and UAE to qualify. UAE won one game and finished third, with Oman failing to win a single match.
