The Ambani family celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 in grand style at their Mumbai residence, Antilia. The family welcomed Ganpati Bappa, affectionately known as “Antilia Cha Raja,” on September 13 with traditional rituals, devotional celebrations, music and dance.
This year, however, it was the breathtaking décor at Antilia that caught everyone's attention. The lavish residence was transformed into a temple-inspired festive space, complete with flowers, traditional elements and thousands of glowing lights.
Antilia Gets a Festive Makeover
Antilia's entrance and surrounding areas were beautifully illuminated with thousands of warm lights. Fairy lights were arranged across the ceiling in a waterfall-like pattern, creating a magical atmosphere for the celebrations.
Fresh marigold and jasmine flowers were used extensively throughout the décor. Floral motifs and traditional decorative pieces added a distinctly Indian touch, while the combination of golden lights and colourful flowers gave the entire venue a warm and festive appearance.
A Temple-Inspired Setting for Ganpati Bappa
The interiors of Antilia were given a traditional temple-like appearance for the occasion. Ornate pillars decorated with floral motifs, carved arches and layered backdrops created an elaborate setting for the Ganesh Puja.
The décor prominently featured shades of ochre, terracotta and gold, which complemented the traditional theme. An elaborate floral canopy further enhanced the ceremonial space.
Chandelier-inspired structures decorated with red and saffron flowers added colour to the interiors, while hanging floral arrangements brought an additional festive touch.
At the heart of the celebrations was the idol of Lord Ganesha, positioned against an ornate golden backdrop. Brass lamps and diyas surrounded the ceremonial area, creating a soft, spiritual glow during the prayers and aarti.
Marigold and jasmine garlands were also incorporated throughout the venue, adding some of the most recognisable elements of traditional Indian festive décor.
Ambani Family Joins the Celebrations
The seating arrangements around the puja area were also designed to match the traditional theme. Ornate wooden chairs and ivory-toned furniture were arranged for family members and guests participating in the rituals.
Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were among those seen welcoming Ganpati Bappa at the celebrations.
Nita Ambani looked elegant in a vibrant traditional outfit, paired with statement jewellery. Radhika Merchant opted for a bright orange embroidered ethnic ensemble and completed her festive look with traditional accessories.
The grand decorations, traditional rituals and the family's presence turned Antilia into a spectacular setting for Ganesh Chaturthi, blending India's rich festive traditions with the Ambani family's signature grandeur.
