Alleged Gang Rape Case Reported in Rudrapur After Woman Returns From Fair, Police Launch Investigation

A serious crime has been reported in Uttarakhand, where a married woman has alleged that she was abducted and sexually assaulted by a group of men while returning home from a local fair late at night. She was accompanied by her brother-in-law at the time. The woman stated that around 11 PM, when they reached near the Kichha bypass area close to Modi Ground, several men arrived on two motorcycles and stopped them.

As per the complaint, the accused individuals were allegedly known to the woman’s brother-in-law. The survivor has claimed that the suspects threatened them and forcibly took them to another location near Thandi Road, which she described as a deserted area.

The woman alleged that the accused men assaulted her there and threatened her with harm if she tried to resist. She also stated that she was injured during the incident. In addition, the suspects allegedly recorded a video and warned that it would be shared online if the matter was reported to the police.
