New Delhi is set to become the global hub of artificial intelligence as the AI Impact Summit 2026 gears up to take place in the national capital. According to an official government release, this will be the first-ever global AI summit hosted in the Global South, marking a major milestone for India’s growing role in the AI ecosystem.
The summit will be held from February 16 to February 20, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The five-day event will focus on key areas such as AI policy-making, cutting-edge research, industry collaboration, innovation, and public engagement. The scale and significance of the summit have led many to describe it as an AI “Mahakumbh.”
