Suraj Bhaskar, a resident of Khalilpur, reported to the police that some unknown miscreants entered his roadside house under construction late at night, brutally beat him, knocked him unconscious, and then severed one of his toes and took it with them. The incident sparked a sensation in the area. The police immediately registered a case and began an investigation.
