Gurugram: A shameful incident has happened with a model in a crowded area like Rajiv Chowk in Gurugram, Haryana. This incident happened around 11 am, when a model was waiting for a cab after returning from Jaipur. Then an unknown young man first started staring at her, then after a while he opened the zip of his pants and started doing obscene acts (masturbation). The model was stunned and scared by this act, but still she showed courage and recorded the video on her mobile. This video is now going viral on social media, seeing which people are expressing anger and concern.

Immediately after the incident, the model tried calling the women's helpline and the police control room several times, but got no response. A police officer even said that online complaints are not accepted, and she will have to come to the police station and report.

Police woke up under pressure from social media

The model finally shared the video on social media and tagged the Gurugram police and the Haryana administration, following which the matter came to light and the police swung into action. Following public anger and media pressure, the police registered an FIR under sections 75(2) and 78 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Gurugram Police has started investigating the CCTV cameras of the area to identify the youth who committed this shameful act.
