The committee's mandate is to prepare recommendations regarding salary structures, allowances, and pensions.

Important information provided by the Finance Ministry

The Finance Ministry stated that the Pay Commission Committee has been given 18 months. This means that the recommendations could be implemented in 2027. In the meantime, the central government will make the final decision on employee salary increases after the recommendations are implemented.
