Ghaziabad Nude Video Call Racket: Gang leader Hariom Pandey told the police that the gang earned their living by displaying obscene body parts of the women involved in the gang and then by getting points from online sites.

Police in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, have busted a major racket that profited from online pornographic content. Six women and the gang leader were arrested for operating this illegal business from a flat in a society in the Crossings Republik police station area. Police also seized several electronic devices, including laptops, computers, and webcams, from the scene.

According to police, the gang used online sites to make money through nude video calls and obscene conversations. The accused women allegedly sat in front of laptops and computers in their flats, equipped with cameras. They allegedly connected to online sites and made video calls on demand from users. They used fake IDs and passwords to conceal their true identities.

The investigation revealed that this entire operation was being run through the Stripchat site. Users earned points for engaging in obscene conversations and displaying their body parts. These points were later converted into cash. The gang leader distributed the proceeds equally among the gang members. It is alleged that some women were employed for monthly salaries of 20,000 to 25,000 rupees (approximately $1,000 USD).

According to a report by Mayank Gaur of India Today, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Web City, Priyashree Pal said in this matter,

"The police received confidential information that women were involved in illegal activities in a flat in the Crossings Republic area. Based on the information, the police team raided the flat and found that six women were active on an online site and was engaging in obscene activities by connecting with people through cameras. Seeing the police, the accused tried to run away, but the team caught them all on the spot."

During interrogation, the gang leader Hariom Pandey told the police that they earned their living by the obscene display of body parts of the women involved in the gang and then by getting points from online sites.

The police have registered an FIR number 013/2026 against all the accused at the Crossings Republik police station under sections 294 (sale of obscene material etc.) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 66D (cheating by personation by computer person) and 67 (publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

The police are now trying to determine how long this illegal business has been operating. They will also try to determine if this online racket has connections to any larger network or other cities.
