Salil Ankola: Indian selector after defeating depression twice

India's new selector Salil Ankola has had a difficult life.

He has 13 wickets in ODIs and two wickets in Tests. Salil Ankola retired from cricket in 1997 due to a brain tumor.

He also got addicted to drugs, after which he was sent to the rehab center.

He got divorced from his first wife in 2011 after coming out of rehab.

His wife committed suicide in 2013 and Salil again went into depression.

He came back after going to rehab for the second time and has now become India's selector.
