Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the PM Surya Ghar Yojana across the country, which aims to install solar panels on the rooftops of one crore houses. First Step:

The first step is to apply under PM Surya Ghar Yojana. To register, you have to visit the official website of PM Surya Ghar Yojana Then, you have to fill out a form and submit it.

Step 2:

In the second step, your application will be sent to the concerned authority. Technical inspection will be conducted, and if all the details are correct, the application will be accepted. If there is any discrepancy it will be sent back for correction.

Step Three:

In the third step, it is time for vendor and plant setup. You have to sign an agreement with a registered seller, after which the installation process of solar panels begins. You can find the list of vendors on the PM Surya Yojana website.

Fourth step:

After plant installation, you will have to submit its details. You will have to upload a photo of the plant on the portal. This process is necessary for inspection, so make sure to complete it.

Step Five:

In the fifth step, an inspection takes place, and a net meter is installed. After this, you can apply for subsidies, which require providing bank details and issuing a cancelled cheque. If everything is found correct then the subsidy comes into the account within a few days.
