If you have not heard or read about Blue Aadhaar Card, then many questions must arise in your mind. This means what is the difference between Blue Aadhaar Card and Regular Aadhaar Card and how is Blue Aadhaar Card different?

Blue Aadhaar Card or Bal Aadhaar Card is issued for children below 5 years of age. This means that not everyone gets a Baal Aadhar Card. It is not easy to take biometric data of a small child or scan their eyes, hence biometric data of children is not taken for this.

To apply for a Blue Aadhaar Card, parents can apply for the newborn through a birth certificate or hospital discharge slip. Apart from this, children's school ID can also be used for Bal Aadhar Card.

To apply for a Baal Aadhaar Card, you have to visit the official website of UIDAI and make an appointment to apply. After making the appointment, the child's application process will be started by visiting the Aadhaar center with the required documents. Within 60 days of completion of the application process, the Baal Aadhar Card will be issued.

According to reports, no charge is taken from parents for a child's Aadhaar card. This means that there is no fee for making an Aadhaar card for the child.
