Twitter's Indian Option Koo has gained a lot of popularity in the country. Celebrities and other celebrities have also started using this platform. To offer validity to verified members, Ku offers a badge called Eminence, which works similar to Twitter's blue tick. According to Koo, the award for the Yellow Tick is based on predefined criteria and is a recognition that the user is a specific representative of "India and the voice of Indians".

Now it comes to who can get Yellow Tick? The Koo Eminence Tick cannot be purchased. It is based on predefined criteria that recognize prestige or stature or achievements or abilities or professional status. Ku claims that the evaluation criteria have been made in the Indian context and are subject to change.

What are the conditions to get a Yellow Tick?

Koo Eminence uses a mixture of internal research and third-party public resources for valuations for recognition. The Yellow Tick Criteria are reviewed every year in March, June, September, and December.

Koo may also offer a tick of eminence in an exceptional condition not covered by the criteria. Users can apply for Yellow Tick Eminence Verification from within the Ku app or by writing to eminence.verification@kooapp.com.

The evaluation process will be offered within 10 days. However, in some cases, there may be a delay in the response to complete the verification.

  • News article in print/online media with necessary focus on a candidate
  • Interviews in programs/channels with due focus on the candidates
  • Books/Publications of Publishing Houses not belonging to any candidate
  • Designation or Award/Achievement

Yellow Tick can also be withdrawn from users

Ku reserves the right to remove the verification tick at any time and without any notification if the original criteria for the award have changed.
