Whatsapp: Now WhatsApp users will be able to add a description to forwarded messages, and know about the new feature!

WhatsApp has added another useful feature for forwarded messages. The Meta-owned company has released a new feature that allows users to add descriptions to forwarded images, videos, GIFs, and documents. This feature is currently only available to Android users and is currently available to some beta testers.

According to WABetaInfo, if a user removes the existing caption and replaces it with their own, the description will be sent as a separate message. This lets the receiver know that the description is not related to the original message.

Users will now be able to add more context to the forwarded media they send, as it will enable them to give a brief description of why they forwarded the media, and also their thoughts, opinions, or feelings about the content shared.

According to the report, some users may face issues in viewing status updates and downloading videos after installing this update.
