WhatsApp has introduced a feature that can help reduce the stress of forgetting an important chat or conversation with parents, girlfriend or boyfriend. The 'Pin Messages' feature allows users to highlight important messages at the top of any contact's chat, ensuring that important information remains easily accessible.

Using the 'Pin Message' feature:

To make the most of this feature, follow these simple steps, and you can pin any message in both personal chats and group chats for up to 30 days:

Android:

Long press on the message you want to pin.

Now go to More Options with three dots.

Select "Pin " and choose a period (for example, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).

After this tap on "Pin".

iPhone:

Tap and hold the message you want to pin.

Tap on More Options and then tap on Pin.

Select the timing for how long you want to pin the message, such as 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

Web and Desktop:

Click on the message you want to pin.

Select the menu option and click "Pin Message".

Select a period (e.g., 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).

Click "Pin".

The pinned message will appear as a banner at the top of the chat until unpinned.

Unpinning a message:

To unpin a message, follow these steps:

To remove the PIN from the message, follow this method-

Android: Tap and hold a message. Now tap on Unpin and then tap on Unpin.

iPhone: Tap and hold a message. Go to More Options and tap Unpin. After this tap on Unpin again.

Web and desktop: View the message you want to remove the pin from. Click on the menu option and select Unpin. After this again select Unpin.
