WhatsApp is set to introduce a new feature soon that will allow users to choose who can use their avatar stickers. This feature will provide users with three options: My Contacts, Selected Contacts and Nobody. If both users and their contacts activate the feature, stickers featuring their avatars will appear in chats.

According to the report of WABetaInfo, the avatar feature can be launched soon, which will give users control over who can use their avatar in stickers. With this feature, the user's photos will be limited to only those people whom he trusts. Beta testers can already use this feature on the updated version 2.24.6.8. This feature can prove to be handy and a lot of fun. Along with this, the possibility of doing something wrong will also be reduced and privacy will be maintained.

WhatsApp is also working on another feature that will tell whether a user's chat is end-to-end encrypted or not. The feature, which is currently in testing for Android, will display "end-to-end encrypted" when a user is conversing in a chat or group, indicating that their communication is secure and cannot be accessed by anyone.

Apart from these updates, WhatsApp is reportedly developing a sticker editor feature that allows users to edit stickers without relying on third-party apps. This feature has been introduced in iOS version 24.1.10.72. Recently, WABetaInfo shared a screenshot of this feature, which showed that users can turn any image into a sticker by accessing the sticker keyboard.
