WhatsApp has rolled out a very useful feature that will allow users to protect their intimate chats with a password and save them in a separate folder. Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the Chat Lock feature to keep intimate chats secure.

"The new locked chats in WhatsApp make your conversations more private. They're hidden in a password-protected folder and don't show notification senders or message content," Zuckerberg said.

The new feature allows users to store conversations in a folder that can only be accessed with the device's password or biometric, like a fingerprint. If you lock a chat, it will automatically hide the conversation details in the notification.

This feature will be important for those who have to share their phone with a family member from time to time.
