WhatsApp's App Channels feature is getting some useful upgrades, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced in a post on his WhatsApp channel today.

One of the most popular additions is the ability to send voice updates on channels, similar to the voice messages feature. Polls are another way for channels to interact with their followers. Channels can now create polls in which users can vote, helping channels gather feedback and gauge interest.

To help channels expand their reach, users can now share channel updates on their personal WhatsApp status. This organic sharing can help channel creators increase their followers.

With the capacity of up to 16 admins, channel operation is also becoming easier. This will allow big channels to manage their community and content efficiently.
