Vodafone Idea Increase Recharge Plans Rate:  Airtel and Jio have already announced an increase in their prices from 10% to 27%. People were just recovering from this shock when they got another similar shock. This time this shock has been given by telecom service provider company Vodafone Idea.

VI Increase Tariff Plans: Telecom companies in India are increasing the rates of their recharge plans one by one. One by one telecom service provider companies are making their tariff plans expensive. Recently, Reliance Industries' telecom company Reliance Jio shocked its users by announcing to increase in the tariff plans. Jio has increased its tariff plans from 12.5 percent to 25 percent. These prices will be applicable from July 3, 2024. After this, well-known telecom company Bharti Airtel increased the prices of its tariff plans. Airtel's increased rates will also be applicable from July 3. 

Airtel and Jio had already announced a hike in their prices from 10% to 27%. People were just recovering from this shock when they got another similar shock. This time this shock has been given by telecom service provider company Vodafone Idea. VI's name has also been included in the list of companies increasing the rates of tariff plans. Vodafone Idea has also announced to increase in the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans (VI Increased Recharge Plans) from July 4. The company has decided to increase the plans from 10% to 23%. 

What will be the new prices of Vodafone Idea plans? 

The company has increased the price of the cheapest plan i.e. the plan with 28 days validity by 11%. Now this plan has become Rs 199 instead of Rs 179. Similarly, the company has increased the price of the popular 1.5 GB daily data plan with 84 days validity from Rs 719 to Rs 859. The price of the unlimited plan with one-year validity has also been increased by 21% from Rs 2899 to Rs 3499. However, the company has not increased the price of the 24 GB data plan with 365 days validity, this plan is still Rs 1799. 

Prices increased after three years.

India is the second largest smartphone market in the world, but the prices of mobile recharge here are the lowest in the world. Jio had adopted a low-price strategy to attract users, due to which other companies also had to keep their prices low. Companies have not increased their recharge prices since 2021. Now after three years, the prices of recharge plans are being increased.
