Tech: What is the new action button given in the iPhone 15 Pro? Know what will be useful!

In terms of design, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro may look quite similar to iPhone 14 Pro. At first glance no significant change is visible. However, during Apple's Wonderlust event, it was revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a new action button on the left side of the phone, replacing the traditional ring/silent switch. Let's take a closer look at this button.

By default, this action button will toggle between silent and ring modes. To do this, you need to press and hold it until you feel haptic feedback.

However, you can customize this action button through Settings. This means you can decide what the action button does. In addition to silencing the phone, you can also use it to launch the camera to take a photo.

Similarly, you can open a voice memo to record audio. Additionally, it can be used to launch accessibility features. Whenever you launch an action button on the iPhone 15 Pro, you'll get visual feedback in the form of a dynamic island.

This button will work somewhat like Back Tap, allowing you to do things like turn on the flashlight or run a Siri shortcut without having to go into the iPhone's Settings.

Talking about the prices, the base 128GB variant of the iPhone 15 Pro in India is priced at ₹ 1,34,900, while the 256GB variant of the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available to customers at a price of ₹ 1,59,900.
