If your AC is not giving cold air even when set to 16 degrees, then there can be many reasons for this, if this problem persists then you should get it checked immediately. Today we are going to tell you about the reasons why your air conditioner stops cooling.

If the AC is not getting enough power, it will not be able to work properly. Make sure the AC is connected to a properly sized circuit breaker and that the power is supplied smoothly.

If ice builds up on the evaporator coils, it can block the airflow and prevent the AC from producing cool air. Turn off the AC and let the ice melt. If the problem persists, get it checked by a technician.

If the thermostat is faulty, it may send the wrong signals to the AC, preventing it from blowing cold air. Replace the thermostat or have it checked by a technician.

If the AC is low on refrigerant, it will not be able to produce cool air. Solution: If you think the refrigerant is low, have it checked by a qualified AC technician.

If the air filter is dirty, it can block the airflow, causing the AC to not deliver cool air. Clean the air filter regularly (every 2-4 weeks).
