Tech: How to get a duplicate copy of your PAN Card online


PAN Card Duplicate Copy: A PAN Card is an important document and by using it you can avail of many services. Its use is necessary for financial transactions. If your PAN Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can apply for a duplicate copy.  


How to get a duplicate copy of your PAN Card online:

1. Go to the website of the Income Tax Department.

2. Click on the "PAN Services" tab.

3. Click on the link "Request for Duplicate PAN Card".

4. Enter your PAN number.

5. Enter your name, date of birth and address.

6. Enter your mobile number and email ID.

7. Upload the scan of your signature.

8. Upload the scan of your Aadhar Card or Driving License.

9. Click on the “Submit” button.

The Income Tax Department will scrutinize your application and send you the duplicate PAN card within 15 days.

Scan of Aadhar Card or Driving License

Fees for Online Application:

There is a fee of ₹100 for a duplicate PAN card.

You can also apply offline to get a duplicate copy of your PAN Card. For this, you will have to go to any regional office of the Income Tax Department.
