Swiggy:  Four years ago Swiggy started a service called Daily? This service provided home-cooked food and that too at affordable prices. When most people started working from home due to Corona lockdown, Swiggy had to stop this service. But, now things are changing. Most people have started going back to the office. The trend of working from home has started decreasing and people have started going to the office and working. Keeping this in view, Swiggy has decided to start its daily service again. Why is Swiggy starting this service? 

Zomato's Everyday service is already available in this market. Both services aim to provide home-like food to office goers and both offer meals for around Rs 89 to Rs 150. Zomoto started this service in some areas of Gurugram in February 2023. After that, as the demand increased, Zomato expanded the everyday service to many more areas. With this, office-going people get home food. 

Where will you get this service from Swiggy? 

This new daily service of Swiggy will be available in their main app only. Earlier this used to be a separate app. It is believed that with this service, Swiggy will not only add new customers but they will also continue to use Swiggy in other categories. Through this service, Swiggy aims to make hostel, PG, and office-going people its customers. 

How many users does Swiggy have?

According to the information, currently, Swiggy has around 14 to 16 million monthly users while Zomato has 18.6 million users. Swiggy wants to reduce this gap. Swiggy hopes that with daily service they will be able to reduce this gap.
