Samsung: Samsung is bringing a great update for its Galaxy S24 series. In this, the 'Instant Slow-Mo' feature has been updated to watch the video in slow motion. Now this feature will also support HDR10+ video. This feature allows users to apply slow-motion effects to any video instantly. To apply this slow-motion effect, the user just has to go to the gallery and tap on the video for a long time. HDR10+ support means that now users can enjoy slow-motion videos with dynamic range. Let us tell you about it in detail.

Why did it happen earlier?

The instant slow-mo feature uses generative AI to create a new frame between existing frames, giving a smooth slow-motion effect. Earlier this feature did not work with HDR10+ videos. Then either the color of the video would get spoiled or it would go to normal quality. But now with the new update, you will be able to watch HDR10+ videos in slow-motion and in good quality.

SamMobile, an official moderator on Samsung's Korean community forum confirmed that developers are working on adding HDR10+ support to Instant Slow-Mo. This support is expected to be included in the next software update. However, it is not clear whether this will be the next regular update or a major OS update. Samsung has been contacted for clarification and an update will be provided accordingly.

When will this feature come

Samsung has announced plans to roll out the instant slow-mo feature to devices including the Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, no specific timeline has been given for this release. Instant Slow-Mo gets a lot better with HDR10+ support. HDR10+ provides better color accuracy, contrast, and brightness, making videos more beautiful and visually appealing.
