Apple has introduced its latest iPhone 16 series at the It's Glowtime launch event this week, which fans were eagerly waiting for. Four models iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been launched in this series. A new camera control or capture button was introduced in these new iPhones. This button allows users to autofocus with light pressure, capture with heavy pressure, and slide from left to right to zoom in or zoom out.
Now Realme is also planning to add a similar button to its phones. In a recent post shared on the social media platform Xu (formerly known as Twitter), Realme's VP and President of Global Marketing Xu Qi Chase has confirmed that the company plans to introduce a camera control button like the iPhone 16 in its phones.
What did Realme VP Xu Qi Chase say
In his X post, Chase wrote, "Those who have followed our 828 Fan Fest probably remember that we showed off a button similar to the iPhone 16's capture button at the tech show, which will be on the upcoming model. Great minds think alike! What else did you get to talk about at Apple's 'GlowTime event? #AppleEvent"
However, Chase has not revealed which smartphones will get the new capture button. The company's next flagship phone Realme GT 7 Pro could be the first phone to come with the Realme version of this camera control button. Previous reports also suggested that Oppo's upcoming Find X8 series could also have a similar camera button.
Realme has already adopted the features of the iPhone
This is not the first time Realme has adopted an iPhone feature. A few months after Apple introduced Dynamic Islands with the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022, Realme introduced its own version of the feature, called Mini Capsule, with its budget phone Realme C55. It was also the first Android phone to come with such a feature.
