Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms across the globe. With millions of active users, the platform introduces brand-new features to keep it interesting. Over the past few years, Meta has introduced a number of new features to Instagram that are similar to those of its other apps, including Facebook and WhatsApp. Now, the Instagram major has announced that the platform is bringing one more feature. In a Broadcast Channel chat with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Adam Mosseri announced that users can now post GIFs in Instagram comments.

GIFs in Instagram comments are available in the latest version of the app. Apart from this, lyrics are also being tested in Instagram Reels.

According to a report in Engadget, this feature is based on the auto-caption sticker meta introduced in 2021.

Meanwhile, Instagram has announced new features on its short video-making app to empower creators. The social network has added a destination for trending audio and hashtags, two new metrics for Reels Insights, and brought Gifts to Reels to more countries.
